The Colorado surveys remain available above. Colorado and national responses are stored separately; compatible findings may be compared, with limitations explained. These voluntary surveys describe participating families’ experiences and do not establish representative state or district rankings.
Only consent and a state choice are required in the national surveys; state includes “Prefer not to answer.” No names or emails are requested. Do not identify students, families, schools, or staff in written comments. Complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed. Each form explains privacy and the three-year retention policy. Community Voices
We're preparing a way to share special education experiences for private research or optional, moderated public storytelling. Submissions are now open through our Community Voices Google Form.
Concerned about a school move?
Colorado's rules require parent participation in decisions changing where a student's IEP is implemented. The rule does not expressly exempt district-wide school closures; how it applies depends on the individual circumstances.
Research in progress
We're gathering family and educator perspectives and examining public data. Findings and school profiles will be published only after review, with clear sources and limitations.
