Reading resources

Colorado Reading & Dyslexia Directory

What reading curriculum does your school use? What intervention programs are available? What training have educators completed? We're building a source-based directory to help Colorado families find answers.

Start with CDE's public data

The Colorado Department of Education publishes reported core, supplemental, and intervention reading programs. Search by district or school to explore what is reported.

Three terms parents should know

Science of Reading

A body of research on reading development—not a single curriculum or certification.

Orton-Gillingham

An instructional approach associated with explicit, systematic structured literacy. Training levels vary.

Wilson programs

Wilson Reading System, Fundations, and Just Words are different programs with different intended uses and training requirements.

What we're verifying

We are requesting existing statewide information about reading programs and educator training. We will distinguish district-reported curricula from verified school-specific training and availability. A program's presence on a list does not mean every student can access it.
